This video was color corrected in Premiere pro for cool cast and contrast.

I tried Seedance “relight” with a still with strong contrast and shadows, but was unsuccessful getting a good look matching the refernce.

The 7-11 scene was a nightmare. I must have tried 12 times or more. Of course in 480p draft mode. I tried the style of prompt that was working so great for most other clips, but it would change performance, change the actor, change the dialog, or tell me there was a copyright issue (the 7-11 icon?). After spending almost a few hours on it I gave up. One example below. I used equal tries in Seedance 2.5 and in Genjutsu.

By the way, I tried to create a sequence where the doll holding a knife is in downtown with people running for their lives, but it looked really fake, but I think it would be great to show a bit of the demons running havoc as they did in Ghostbusters. When the priest says at :55 “Every demon we trapped..” Seems like that would be great place to see demons going crazy in the city.

I know you saw the stutter in the shot where camera moves towards door at 5-6 seconds, the jerkiness of frames on rack focus to doll at 38-40 also.

Obviously we need some heavy color grading using tracking windows on faces to give them more modeling and darken slightly the shadow sides, and darken some background areas.

Extract the actors and their exact performances from the entire reference video. Use the kitchen image as a location guide, adapting its perspective to match each original shot. At the start, the actors have their backs toward the metal front of the kitchen counter. Preserve every movement, expression, gesture, pause and line delivery exactly as filmed, including the original timing, shot changes and camera movement. Match the background lighting to the actors. Replace only the background, adding no new actions or shots. No music, sound effects only. Keep lip sync.
